Previews Are Different

Previews of RAW files looks different in browser than after opening in editor! Is it normal?

Well… yes it is. Previews of RAW files were created by the camera firmware and are embedded in RAW files. Many applications uses those previews because of speed and Lightzone is not an exception. When user opens a RAW file for editing it is demosaiced and processed by Lightzone's RAW engine what results in different colors and contrast. None of the versions is "true" or better as both are a result of some processing.

In other words - preview shows what the in-camera jpeg would look like but every RAW developer will give a bit different results.
